Chandra loves living in the mountains, trail running, hiking and biking with her two boys, Lucas and Logan.

During this time, he also developed a passion for financial markets, which keeps him active week to week. Wes, along with wife Chandra and boys Logan (7) and Lucas (3), moved full time to Estes Park in late 2021 and quickly became involved in Rocky Church as servants and members. Reggie Shook

Chairman

Reggie was born in Sidney, Nebraska and grew up in the area made up of NE Colorado, SE Wyoming, and panhandle of Nebraska. He was raised in a Christian home and realized he needed Christ as his Savior at an early age. He graduated from Akron High School in 1975 and from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Geophysical Engineering in 1979. That same year, he started his career with Union Oil Company of California in Oklahoma City.

The Lord has blessed him with a wonderful godly wife, Cindy, and three beautiful believing daughters; Anna, Lauren, and Grace. His various work assignments took them to many locations in the “oil patch” including Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Indonesia, and Canada. In all those places, the Lord led them to rich Christian communities for fellowship and worship.

Following a 35-year career with Unocal/Chevron in the oil and gas industry, they built a home and moved to Estes Park in the fall of 2014. They love living on the door step of Rocky Mountain National Park. He and Cindy enjoy volunteering at Wind River Ranch and in addition Reggie continues to help his dad with the cattle on his ranch near Akron, Colorado. They officially joined the Rocky family in the summer of 2016 and he has served as an elder for the past six years.

Tom Cousineau

Tom has been a believer since age 11. After serving in the Army, he attended Grand Rapids Baptist College where he majored in Christian Education. Tom had served as Chairman of the Deacon Board at Temple Hill Baptist Church in Cadillac, Michigan and this is Tom’s second term serving as an Elder at Rocky Church. Eli has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in structural engineering and is a licensed professional engineer.

Prior to moving to Estes, Eli served on a number of committees and participated in missions at their church in Dallas.

Eli and Laura have lived in Estes Park and been members of Rocky Mountain Church since 2018. They have four kids – Eli, Emmy, Anna, and Lucy.

Dan Marshall

Vice-Chairman

Daniel “Dan” and his wife, Jana, started attending Rocky in 2005 with their two children, Luke and Michaela, after moving to Pinewood Springs from Greeley, CO. Dan and Jana first served as hosts to a Rocky Life Group while they lived in Pinewood Springs from 2008 to 2012. Dan served Rocky as the Director of Men’s Ministry from 2011 to 2021. He served as a voting member on the Nomination Committee in 2017. He chaired the Estes Park Crossroads Endowment Foundation as President from 2017 to 2021. Dan has now served Rocky as an Elder since 2021.

Outside of Rocky, Dan served 20 years in the Air Force and retired as a Major in 2008. After a life-changing and paralyzing aircraft accident in 2002, Dan was hired as a Satellite Engineer for Lockheed Martin and after 19 years, he is now serving as a Software Engineer Manager in Boulder, CO.

Dan believes his 45+ years of his faith journey has built a solid foundation of trust, wisdom from the Holy Spirit within him, and a discerning spirit to know, listen and understand the needs of the Christ-following members of the church.

Jim Boyd

Elder

My wife, Annie, and I have been members of Rocky Mountain Church since 2015. I served a three-year term as an Elder at Rocky from 2017 through 2020. I retired from YMCA of the Rockies in January 2023 after a 42+ year career. Annie is a semi-retired Speech Therapist at EP Health. Our home is in the back of The Retreat, below Glen Haven. Annie and I both grew up in very committed Christian families and have both dedicated our lives to Christian service.

I consider my spiritual gifts to be Mercy, Serving and Administration. I was born into a very close-knit extended family of strong Christians. My great grandfather was a Methodist Circuit Rider, riding on horseback to pastor churches across south Texas. My uncle was a Baptist missionary, and my parents and grandparents were all very involved in local church ministry. I know that I was a regular topic of prayer for most of my extended family. Looking back, I have no doubt that God’s hedge of protection was surrounding me, and that the Holy Spirit was guiding me. From my earliest memories, there has not been a time in my life when I did not have a strong belief in and reliance upon Jesus Christ. My faith has been tested many times and my profession of faith has been reaffirmed both personally and publicly on many occasions.

Throughout my life, I have always been involved in ministry and church administration, having served in the following capacities: Elder, Deacon, Finance Committee Member, Buildings & Grounds Committee Member, Children’s Choir Member, Youth Choir Member, Adult Choir Member. I was Co-Director of Estes Valley Caring Pregnancy Center for two years. During college I was Chaplain for a hospital burn unit.

I am honored to serve as an Elder at Rocky once again.

George Havran

Elder

George gave his life to the Lord in 1991. His wife, Deb, and he have been married for 30 ½ years. They have lived in the Estes Valley since 2007, in Glen Haven for 8 1/2 years and in Estes Park for the past 7. They have been members of Rocky since March of 2008 and are blessed with two sons and 4 grandsons.

George has served on the elder team since 2017. He and Deb also currently serve on the greeting team. Previously at Rocky, George has been a life group leader and was the men’s ministry leader for several years. His spiritual gifts are Shepherding, Exhortation & Hospitality. The Lord has given him a heart for people who are hurting. Praying for others’ needs and providing practical assistance are some of the ways he serves others.

Interests/Hobbies – time with the Lord, time with his wife Deb, family, friends, hiking, camping, fishing, bike riding, and fixing things. He is employed at Good Samaritan Village in Estes Park, where he believes the Lord has directed him to do maintenance and share the Lord and his word with the residents and staff.

George’s passion for the Lord, his word, and his people is stronger than ever before. He is excited to see how the Lord will guide him to serve him in the future!
